History
William H. Stolberg was educated at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, where he received his B.S. degree in 1968. He received his J.D. from the University of Florida in 1973. He has extensive continuing education in the area of marital and family law, and previous experience in business and accounting.
He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1973, and has been in the continuous private practice of law since that time in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. His practice is devoted exclusively to marital and family law matters.
He was admitted to the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers in 1990, and was Florida Bar Board certified in marital and family law in 1988. He is the former chair of the Family Law Section of the Broward County Bar Association. He is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
William H. Stolberg has authored many published articles, including "Freezing Your Assets Off: A Powerful Remedy on Thin Ice," Florida Bar Journal, May, 2002; "A Serious Penalty for Perjury," Florida Bar Journal, February 1999; "Tax-Effecting Marital Property: The Wild Card in Valuation," Florida Bar Journal, March, 1996; "The Mediation Privilege - An Impermeable Wall," Florida Bar Journal, May 1994. He is a regular contibutor to legal seminars and continuing legal education.
